Poway Chamber Calendar - Business and networking events

COMMUNITY BAND FESTIVAL - In mid-May, concert bands from San Diego County and as far away as Arizona come to to the living historic village of Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road. The City of Poway and the Pomerado Community Band present this free lineup of great music. Check back for dates and details. Information (858) 679-4313.

Old Fashioned Fourth of July is held in Old Poway Park. Fireworks from Poway High School finish off the day with a bang. Sponsored by City of Poway Community Services Dept., (858) 679-4343.

Concerts in the Park are produced by the City of Poway Community Services Dept. throughout the summer at Lake Poway and Old Poway Park. (858) 679-4343.

Poway Days is held every September with a Heritage Parade, Community Day, Poway Rodeo and more. The Poway Chamber of Commerce serves as the coordinator for a dozen or more events sponsored by numerous community groups in a span of a little more than two weeks. See last year's schedule.

Train Song Festival is held every October at Old Poway Park, sponsored by City of Poway Community Services Dept., (858) 679-4343.

Christmas in the Park is held in December at Old Poway Park, Midland Road. Santa Claus arrives by train at 5, and the Christmas tree is lit. Open house includes caroling, live music, holiday foods and treats, children's theater performance and other family activities for the entire family. Candyland Holiday Festival - Held in December in Community Park, 13094 Civic Center Dr. Kids can meet Santa, play in tons of fresh snow and a fun jump, visit magical areas such as Lollipop Park and Tootsie Roll Forest, and make holiday crafts in Santa's Workshop.
