If you are in the market to buy a home in San Diego you have probably spent countless hours searching the internet, looking at  homes for sale, researching information on schools and neighborhood characteristics. Being that we are in an untraditional market you have probably done extensive research on trying to figure out if "now" is the right time to buy, maybe you have even lost some sleep over it.

Realtors have it easy these days. The internet has trained San Diego real estate buyers and sellers to do all the leg work. It seems as though all a Realtor has to do is be in the right place at the right time. Thanks to the internet, buyers and seller spend extensive time researching the market, finding properties, trying to determine what their home might sell for and so on. In our opinion  what they should be doing is spending that time researching which agent they would like to hire. We are not saying you should not educate yourself on buying or selling. We just feel you should also spend the time to find the most competent, experienced  and motivated real estate agent.

Let us be the first to tell you that not all agents are the same. The reality is that the San Diego real estate market is slow. Many agents have had to turn to second jobs or leave the business all together. The agents that are succeeding (not to be mistaken for surviving) in today's market are the ones you want on your side. Unfortunately, obtaining a real estate license from the state of California is about as easy as memorizing your ABCs.
